How we choose what to list

We use the same criteria for every entry — capability, price, and fit for specific workflows. Initial entries are sourced from vendor docs, changelogs, and community discussion, and clearly labeled as such until the editor has used the tool first-hand.

What we don't do

• We don't accept payment for placement, ranking, or favorable language.
• We don't claim we've tested a tool when we haven't.
• We don't run sponsored content disguised as editorial.
• We don't publish AI-generated reviews dressed up as first-hand experience.

If we change something

Tool reviews go out of date. When we verify or re-test a tool we update the verification date on its page. If our verdict changes, we say so explicitly rather than silently editing.
